‘High Definition’ is currently the hot buzzword in the ever-evolving world of television and from Monday February 15, DStv audiences in Africa have so much more choice with the launch of the M-NET AFRICA HD channel on DStv channel 170.
Running 20 hours daily until April 1 at which time it will become a 24 hour channel, M-NET AFRICA HD is available only to DStv Premium subscribers who have an HD ready television and who access their DStv services through the technologically advanced HD PVR decoder.
Combining hit international series and popular kids programming with blockbuster movies and must-watch specials, including some of music’s biggest stars in concert, M-NET AFRICA HD redefines television entertainment offering bolder colour, superior picture quality and an unforgettable viewing experience.
Among the series on offer on M-NET AFRICA HD are – Grey’s Anatomy, Royal Pains, House, Desperate Housewives, Fringe, DollHouse, Ugly Betty, The Good Wife, Flash Forward, Friday Night Lights and Raising the Bar.
