Serengeti Breweries Launches ‘Wape Shavu Taifa Stars na Serengeti Premium Lager Campaign in Dar Es Salaam
Serengeti Breweries today, launched a campaign in Dar Es Salaam aimed at popularizing and supporting the National Team ‘Taifa Stars’ to Tanzanians ahead of the International friendly match with New Zealand National Team.
Speaking at the press conference today, SBL Public Relations, Media and Communications Manager Mrs Teddy Mapunda Said, that they will introduce road shows to encourage people to turn up in their numbers to support Taifa Stars. Akudo Impact Band will also be incorporated in the shows and culminate their performance during the match day.
Serengeti breweries, who are the main sponsors of the ‘Taifa Stars’ until 2011, will be using their branded truck for the campaign and will activate 6 big promotions which will go round the 3 districts, and all Dar Es Salaam Residents are invited to participate for the questions and answer session when the truck is around their area.
There will be a raffle draw for the people who will visit the truck and winners will get free entry tickets to this highly anticipated match. This campaign will run from tomorrow 29th May, 2009 till 2nd June, 2009.
On the day of the match, there will also be a Road show around the city of Dar es Salaam and the final destination will be outside the New National Stadium hyping up the match.
This campaign is launched for the first time in Dar Es Salaam and is the first of its kind in Tanzania in support of Taifa Stars. Serengeti Breweries wishes the team good luck and urge all the Tanzanians to support the team.
The match which will be played on the 03rd June, 2009 at the New National Stadium in Dar Es Salaam.
