One day youth symposium on Beijing +15 anniversary on Friday, 05 March 2010!!

The United Nations System in Tanzania in collaboration with United Nations Association (UNA), Youth of United Nations Association (YUNA) and UN Clubs Tanzania Network (UNCTN) cordially invites the media to a one day youth symposium on Beijing +15 anniversary on Friday, 05 March 2010, at 1000 hours at Apeadu Confrence hall, United Nations offices, Off Kinondoni Road.
The Guest of hour will be Hon. Pindi Chana, Member of Parliament (Special seat CCM and member of CCM Central committee).
The symposium aim to enhance the capacity of youth to address and advocate the issue of gender inequality. Four paper will be presented during the symposium as follows; a) Enhancement of women’s legal capacity – Humphrey Pole pole, Executive Director, TaNzania Youth Coalition
b) Economic empowerment of women and poverty eradication – Maria Binti Shaba, Gender Activist and International Trade consultant

c) Women’s political empowerment and decision making – Prof Maximillian Mmuya, Chairman, Agenda Participation
d) Women’s success to education, training and employment – Easter Riwa, Dept of Youth Affairs, Ministry of labour, Employment and Youth Development
