DYNAMIC YOUTH CHANNEL KIDSCO LAUNCHES ON DStv!!

From Tuesday June 30, DStv audiences in East and Central Africa* will have access to the dynamic youth channel KidsCo when it’s added to the DStv Premium, Compact and Family bouquets.

KidsCo, the international children's channel owned by leading media companies NBC Universal, Cookie Jar Group and Corus Entertainment Inc., has also secured an agreement with MultiChoice Africa for KidsCo to air in 13 countries in Africa on the DStv platform. KidsCo will be available in 11 countries via satellite in English and in Mozambique and Angola in Portuguese and will also be available on cable pay TV.

Commenting on the new channel offering Eben Greyling (President: MultiChoice Africa) said, "We are happy to offer the channel to our subscribers as it adds great value to our existing bouquets by enhancing the entertainment experience for the whole family."

Children and families in Africa can look forward to wholesome and age appropriate programming from KidsCo, including The Wiggles, Inspector Gadget, New Adventures of Madeline, Sabrina, Tracy Beaker, Dennis the Menace and original KidsCo programming including arts show, Jass Time! and KidsCo's recently commissioned environmental series for 6-10 year olds, Boo & Me.
