CNN LAUNCHES TANZANIA: THE ULTIMATE SAFARI SWEEPSTAKES WIN A TRIP FOR TWO AND CHANCE TO VISIT WORLD FAMOUS SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK AND NGORONGORO CRATER
CNN launched the second annual Tanzania: The ultimate Safari Sweepstakes sponsored by the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB). The winner will enjoy an experience of a life time in a country named one of the top Safari destinations in Africa. The trip will include seven days/six night stay that will take lucky winners to two of Tanzania’s World heritage sites, the famous Serengeti National park, home to the great animal migration and the world famous Ngorongoro Crater.

The Serengeti National Park recently named the 7th new wonder of the World is one of the World’s last great wild life refuges. It is in these vast plains that the visitor can witness the annual migration that is one of nature’s most awe – inspiring wonders. More than one million wildebeests as well as one hundreds of thousands Zebra and gazelle perused by hungry predators move in a north/south cycle. Most of the migration, 85%, and takes place in the Serengeti form December through July.
The Ngorongoro crater, often called the Eight wonder of the World rises 2,286m above sea Laval and is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. It is also unique in that it is the only protected area where the local inhabitants, the Maasai herdsmen and their cattle live in harmony with the wildlife and tourists. Or rounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters from the Caldera floor, this natural amphitheater is about 25 miles in diameter and is home to up to 30,000animals.The drama unfold as one drives down from the crater to the crater rim to the crater floor. In addition to the many big game, elephant, lion, hippo, it is one of the few places that one can still see Black Rhino.
