Serengeti Breweries Ltd yestarday launched its Long neck bottle to the ARUSHA region.
Teddy Mapunda, SBL Public Relations, Media and Communications Manager launched the bottle together with a campaign of SCORE, WIN WITH GOOD TIMES during a brief ceremony which was held at the Golden Rose Hotel in Arusha. The ceremony was also attended by the General Manager Sales, Mr Vijay Joshi, and the Senior Sales Executive for Arusha Mr James Sangale and the Arusha Marketing Executive Mr Wilson Maula.
Speaking at the ceremony today, Serengeti Breweries Public relations, Media and Communications Manager Mrs Teddy Mapunda said, ‘It is with great honor that today SBL is launching its recycled long neck bottle which has a modern look to appeal to consumer’s need. "The new Premium Serengeti Larger long neck bottle is yet another example of the company's commitment in upgrading our products and packaging that meets consumer's needs," she noted. SBL public relations and media communications head Teddy Mapunda added the new bottle is easy to handle and give more convenience to consumers. The beer is available now in the Arusha Region retail outlets. "The new bottle has been in the planning in response to demand from consumers to upgrade the packaging. The design was a clear winner with 92 per cent of consumers surveyed” she noted
Introduced in the market in 2003, Premium Serengeti larger has become one of the top three beer brands in the country with the market share of 15 per cent. On another development SBL today launched its campaign of SCORE, WIN with Good Times which has an aim of educating and understanding the consumer’s needs and promote the long neck launch in Arusha Region she added
