Tanzania, Dar es Salaam: MultiChoice Africa, operator of Africa’s innovative pay TV platform DStv, today announced the launch of the continent’s most accessible pay television package, DStv Access. The new package is a significant milestone in making premium pay television an everyday reality for homes in Africa and demonstrates MultiChoice Africa’s commitment to creating a vibrant and exciting pay television industry in Africa.
MultiChoice Tanzania General Manager Mr. Peter Fauel commented:
“We are responding to the needs of a broader television viewing market. The DStv pay television service is one of the most cost effective options for family entertainment. Since many people in Tanzania, as with the rest of the world, are looking at their budgets more tightly, we believe that this new bouquet will open up new avenues for both our business and television viewers. Our commitment remains focused on providing exceptional customer services to DStv subscribers to ensure that they have access to the finest quality premium content; local and international channels on carefully selected bouquets, designed to meet the viewing needs of the whole family, while ensuring flexible pricing options.”
DStv Access subscribers will have an extensive choice of family entertainment, combining general entertainment, movies, documentaries, news, children’s programming, music, religion and sport.
